Version 5.x support ends June 30, 2017

Support and maintenance for version 5.x will end on June 30, 2017. If you are still running version 5, we recommend you plan a migration, and we will be happy to help should you need any assistance.

New changes in 5.5.2 Build 4

  • #3213: BUG - Security: Fixed some vulnerabilities in the portal search and statistics process data filters (Part 2 of #3212).

  • #3215: BUG - Oracle: Fixed a type casting exception error when displaying the statistics in the portal (A regression bug introduced in item #3206).

Portal

  • #3190: NEW FEATURE - Form designer: WebForm: Web form layouts are now automatically optimized at the run time according to the device resolution (iPhone, iPad, other smartphones and tablets).

Requirements:

  • The process built-in web form must use one of the updated CSS stylesheet templates.

  • For WorkflowGen iOS app usage: WorkflowGen iOS app version 1.2.1 installed on your iOS device.

  • For existing form designer’s web forms: You need to save the form by applying a new style from the CSS stylesheet templates.

  • #3192: UPDATE - German resources update.

  • #3198: UPDATE - Holidays resources update.

  • #3200: UPDATE - Form designer: Behaviour improvements for field conditional read-only.

Notes:

  • Form field: The field and his associated label are now disabled instead of his parent container panel.

  • Gridview: The control is now disabled instead of hidden.

  • #3203: UPDATE - Translated the process definition error message in the new request launch event.

  • #3206: UPDATE - Statistics Activity Report: Added a new process category search filter.

  • #3185: PERFORMANCE - Improve the response time of the assignment todo search.

  • #3208: PERFORMANCE - Web Service API: Improve the response time of the GetProcessInstanceListCount and GetActivityInstanceListCount web methods.

  • #3186: BUG - An exception error was raised when sorting a data column in the team todo list in mono-process mode.

  • #3209: BUG - Security: Fixed some vulnerabilities in the user portal.

  • #3210: BUG - A System.Byte[] type casting exception error was raised when the file content stored in the database was null.

  • #3212: BUG - Security: Fixed some vulnerabilities in the portal search and statistics process data filters.

Administration

  • #3193: NEW FEATURE / PERFORMANCE - Directory Synchronization: Added a new option to synchronize group members that are associated in a participant only.

Note:

-Turn ON this new feature if you are experiencing a very long group members synchronization time with your Active Directory.

  • Must be activated with the new web.config’s parameter

  • #3055: UPDATE - Administration: You can allow or restrict a process manager to manage global participant.

Note:

  • Must be activated with the the new web.config’s parameter

  • #3196: BUG - An exception error was raised when deleting a process with a built-in form and the webform folder is not found.

  • #3211: BUG - Performance: Missing some table Indexes when WorkflowGen is installed using the InstallShield pack of WorkflowGen 5.5.1 or earlier on a MS SQL Server database.

Notes:

  • The issue concerns a MS SQL Server database with the InstallShield pack of WorkflowGen 5.5.1 and earlier only.

  • Oracle database is not affected.

  • Download and run the fix (SQL update script) on your WorkflowGen database in SQL Server Management Studio.
