Is it possible to have the system send a custom template via notifications after the requester hits the submit button? We have attempted to set the notification condition in a couple of ways but are not able to get the notification sent upon submission.

It should work with the “Closed” Event - if it’s not working I would suggest taking a look in the notification logs. The source of the issue might be somewhere else.
