How do overdue email notifications work?

Overdue email notifications are not sent when an action has an overdue exception specified, since the exception will close the action.

The rules are as follows:

  • Overdue actions with an automatic overdue notification will only work if no exception is defined on the action.

  • Overdue actions with an additional overdue notification will work even if an exception is defined on the action.
