Integrations with external systems to perform certain functions can be created through the use of URLs, such as launching requests and actions from any external site (with or without WorkflowGen frames and menus), launching an action in a non-WorkflowGen window and redirecting to another (non-WorkflowGen) website, and viewing follow-up forms disconnected from the User Portal.
The available operations include:
-
Launching a new request and starting a new action from within the WorkflowGen User Portal or from within another website.
-
Launching a new request and starting a new action without the WorkflowGen User Portal.
-
Starting an existing action from within the WorkflowGen User Portal or without the User Portal.
-
Displaying a request follow-up form from within the WorkflowGen User Portal or without the User Portal.
-
Displaying a graphical follow-up form from within the WorkflowGen User Portal or without the User Portal.
-
Downloading file data of a specific request or action using a WorkflowGen URL.
-
Displaying the WorkflowGen User Portal inside another website.
See the Integration Using WorkflowGen URLs section in the WorkflowGen Integration Guide for instructions on how to configure these operations, along with examples and a list of possible errors.
