In the admin module, what are categories for?

You can define different categories and assign your process definitions to them. This allows end-users to create searches on specific process categories. As well, any page that displays the Launch Request ability will group the different processes by their categories.

Creating a category

Note: To create categories, you must be a WorkflowGen administrator.

  1. In Administration Module, select the Categories menu item or click the Categories icon.

  2. Select New category.

  3. Provide a name and description for the new category. The description provided is what will be displayed to end-users.
