General

  • Security (#3569): Added the SameSite flag with the Lax value to all WorkflowGen server response cookies.

  • Security (#3652): Added the HttpOnly flag to all WorkflowGen server response cookies.

Portal

  • Bug (#3647): Fixed a sporadic performance issue where a request or action list would try to retrieve the data of all requests or actions.

Administration: Form Designer

  • Enhancement (#3650): Added the Maximum length field behavior (e.g. maxlength attribute) to Textarea form fields to limit the number of input characters.

Workflow Engine

  • Bug (#3658): Fixed an authorization issue that prevented a sub-process in archive status to be started from a parent process.

    This was a regression introduced in version 8.

Workflow Applications

  • Bug (#3654): Fixed an authorization issue that prevented a standard action initiator from starting a new request via the STARTPROCESS system action with the IMPERSONATE_USER parameter.

GraphQL v5.0.9, Webhooks v6.0.11, Auth v3.0.9 and SCIM v3.0.8

  • Updated Node.js vulnerable dependencies.

Notes

  • All of the Node.js modules (GraphQL v5.0.9, Webhooks v6.0.11, Auth v3.0.9, and SCIM v3.0.8) now require Node.js version 14.16.1 LTS.

  • Please refer to all the WorkflowGen release notes (8.0.0, 8.0.1, 8.0.2, 8.0.3) for all the new features and changes in the new version 8.
