WorkflowGen 7.16.5

General

  • Change (#2948): The default login.aspx page example has been removed from the \wfgen folder in the upgrade pack.

Portal

  • Enhancement (#2834): Process and request data file download: The IIS web server now auto-manages the response file content length.

  • Bug (#2843): Statistics: Fixed a selected data removal issue with the remove arrow button in the displayed data popup dialog in the data report form.

Administration

  • Bug (#2944): Global lists: Fixed an import issue where the selected global list was replaced before the confirm dialog was displayed.

  • Bug (#2946): Process data file editor: Fixed an HTML file content encoding issue after saving an HTML file data.

Form designer

  • Bug (#1943): Fixed some missing CSS style issues on disabled dates in the date picker calendar in the Air form style.

Workflow engine

  • Change (#2939): The System.Time macro (<WF_SYSTEM_TIME>) now contains the full current UTC DateTime value.

GraphQL v3.0.3

  • Change (#2941): OIDC authentication: Added a new configuration parameter ApplicationSecurityAuthAccessTokenUsernameClaim in the web.config to define the access token username claim for Microsoft Identity Platform v2.0.

Note: This update fixes an OIDC authentication failure issue in GraphQL (since WorkflowGen version 7.16.0) when configured with Microsoft Identity Platform v2.0. If you are using this configuration, you must define the new setting <add key="ApplicationSecurityAuthAccessTokenUsernameClaim" value="upn" /> in your \wfgen\web.config after the upgrade as indicated in the latest WorkflowGen for Azure guide: https://docs.advantys.com/workflowgen-for-azure/azure-active-directory-authentication#step-1-add-azure-ad-values-to-the-workflowgen-web-config

Docker

Notes

  • All of the Node.js modules (GraphQL v3.0.3, Webhooks v5.0.1, Auth v2.0.1, and SCIM v2.0.1) now require Node.js version 10.16.3 LTS.

Reminders

  • Oracle database is no longer supported as of WorkflowGen version 7.16.0. We recommend migrating to MS SQL Server 2017 or later.

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 is no longer supported as of WorkflowGen version 7.11.0. We recommend migrating to Windows Server 2016 or later.

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 is no longer supported as of WorkflowGen version 7.10.0. While SQL Server 2008 is still compatible with WorkflowGen, support for any performance issues or bugs resulting from using SQL Server 2008 will no longer be provided.

For clients currently hosting WorkflowGen on a database server older than MS SQL Server 2012, we highly recommend upgrading to MS SQL Server 2017 or 2019 for the best performance.
