Unable To Change Participant Type

Hi,

I have run into an issue where I am unable to change the Participant Type of certain Participants with 1 user to “A person.” The only available options are “A list of persons” and “A list of persons with coordinator(s)”. I would like to change these to the “A person” Participant Type so that I can use the “Automatic to the person” assignment method in a couple of my workflow actions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I believe this is because the Participants are currently used in a process. If I temporarily replace these Participants in the workflow, are any changes propagated elsewhere in the process that I need to worry about?

Hi,

Changing the members in the Participant group will only change who will handle the actions associated to those participants. Also, old requests will remain intact.

There is nothing to be worried about.
