> **Note:** This article applies to WorkflowGen versions 6.6.0 and earlier.

Adobe ended support for Flash on December 31, 2020, and Flash content is blocked from running in browsers as of January 12, 2021.

If you were still using the Flash-based Workflow Designer in **versions 6.1.0 to 6.6.0** of WorkflowGen, you must enable the HTML5-based designer next to **Graphical workflow display mode** on the **Administration** tab in the Configuration Panel.

If you are using a version of WorkflowGen **prior to 6.1.0** , you must upgrade to a more recent version, since the Workflow Designer in those versions is Flash-based, with no HTML5-based alternative.

> See the [Graphical Workflow Designer: HTML5 and Flash comparison](https://discuss.workflowgen.com/t/graphical-workflow-designer-html5-and-flash-comparison/458) article for a table listing the HTML5-based Workflow Designer equivalents of the Flash-based designer functions.
