# Workflow: Action's lead time defined by a process data: Difference between a numeric and a datetime value

An action’s lead time can be defined in a process data. Datetime or numeric type process data can be used.

When a datetime process data is used, the days off defined in WorkflowGen are not taken into consideration to calculate the lead time.

When a numeric process data is used, the days off are used to calculate the lead time.
