The license file is missing, invalid or your trial period has expired

If you come across the following issue when running the directory sync: “The license file is missing, invalid or your trial period has expired.” and you are sure that your license is a valid one. Do the following:

  1. Make sure the key “WebConfigPath” in “Files\Advantys\WorkflowGen\Services\bin\WfgDirectoriesSyncService.exe.config” is pointing to /wfgen/web.config file. The engine uses this key to locate the license file.

  2. The account running the dir or engine service must have permission to the /wfgen folder in order to load the web.config file
