# Setup: Oracle: Attempt to load Oracle Client librairies threw BadImageFormatException

**Error message**

`Attempt to load Oracle Client librairies threw BadImageFormatException`

**Solution**

If the Oracle Client is 64-bit, the WorkflowGen application pool must also be 64-bit, and if the Oracle Client is 32-bit, the WorkflowGen application pool must also be 32-bit.

This issue has been confirmed with the following configuration:

Database: Oracle server version 9.2.0.8

Client: Oracle client version 11gR2 (64-bit)

You may encounter this error with other Oracle configurations.
