# Dynamically Required Fields

I am having trouble understanding the instructions on [this page](https://discuss.workflowgen.com/t/how-to-set-a-web-form-control-to-be-dynamically-required/169). Does anyone know how to make a form field dynamically required?

What I’m trying to do is make it so that when the user enters in a number greater than 0, it causes a dropdown to be not only required but also greater than 0.

What do you mean by “it causes a dropdown to be […] greater than 0.”?

Meaning that the dropdown must be greater than 0. 0 is an option in the dropdown and has to be because there’s a scenario in which there will be 0 male chaperones (for example).

Does that make sense?
