SharePoint can use Active Directory Groups or built-in SharePoint groups.

WorkflowGen provides an Active Directory connector, but not a connector to synchronize SharePoint Groups.

A solution is to use the Text connector. In this case, you’ll have to export users from Active Directory and groups from SharePoint into text files used by the connector.

For more information, see [Text connector](https://docs.advantys.com/workflowgen-administration-module-reference-guide/directory-synchronization#text-connector) in the [WorkflowGen Administration Guide](https://docs.advantys.com/workflowgen-administration-module-reference-guide/).
