# A user is receiving a to-do notification but the action is not assigned to him/her?

**Issue**

A user is receiving a to-do notification but the action is not assigned to them.

**Cause**

The user in question might be set up as a delegated user for these actions, so even though the action is not assigned to them, they will still receive the action to-do notification.
