# 7.4 update issues

I’m trying to update from 7.3.1 to 7.4. The instructions say that for 7.3.1 updates, add the line “add key=“AdministrationDefaultConditionLanguage” value=“JS”” to the appSettings section. IIS throws an error "Cannot add duplicate collection entry of type ‘add’ with unique key attribute ‘key’ set to ‘AdministrationDefaultConditionLanguage’.

Additionally, the Advantys\Workflowgen\Services\bin does not contain WfgDirectoriesSyncService.exe.config or WfgWorkflowEngineService.exe.config. I have copied the files from 7.3.1 – is that problematic?

Hi,

How many times do you see the key **AdministrationDefaultConditionLanguage** in the web.config file under the \wfgen folder? Have you added it twice by mistake?

If the files WfgWorkflowEngineService.exe.config and WfgDirectoriesSyncService.exe.config are missing, the services cannot run since they would crash. Is that the case?

only once.

there were changes to the config files that were needed as part of the update. hard to change them if they’re not there.
